J.D. SMITH COMPANY HISTORY

In 1970, after working as a Manager and Troubleshooter for over 14 years at another pest control company, J.D. Smith, Sr. founded the J.D. Smith Company. Beginning in Pinellas County, Mr. Smith soon expanded his operations to Cover West-Central Florida. Their offices include Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Polk and Citrus Counties.

From a small beginning of two people, the company now employees over 75 full-time trained staff members. As required by the State of Florida, each office has one or more Certified Operators. These operators are fully certified in all phases of pest control administrative By the Department of Entomology of Florida JD Smith Exterminators Inc. is incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida, fully insured and licensed. Our satisfied customers include a number of large companies as well as small family firms and homeowners. We are members of the Florida Pest Control Association, Florida Pest Management Association, Florida Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau and the Florida sheriff's Association. J.D. Smith Company enjoys an excellent reputation in the Community as well as among our competitors. We are licensed by the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; License #1099.
